6 Diet Tips for People with Osteoarthritis

Use olive oil

Citrus fruits, red peppers, strawberries, broccoli, cabbage, and kale are some of the sources of vitamin C that you can make choices for daily consumption. The recommended amount of vitamin C is 75 milligrams per day for women, and 90 milligrams per day for men.

Avoid cooking with high temperatures
Meat cooked at high temperatures produces compounds that can cause inflammation in your body. Compounds called advanced glycation end products (AGEs) are strongly associated with arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes. AGEs are proteins or lipids that undergo glycation after exposure to sugar.
